My Helper

Jamie has become quite the little helper around the house lately. He loves to help with laundry, feeding Joey his meals, taking out the trash, and dusting. He actually does a pretty good job and I appreciate the help. :)

9 Month Check Up

Today was her check up....she's 28 inches tall (60%) and 17.7 pounds (25%). Our doctor gave us the okay to start feeding her what we are eating.....let the fun begin! :)

She's 9 months old!

Three more months and she'll be one years old....crazy! She's doing great! We finally got her moved into her crib and she's sleeping there all night long.....something I thought would never happen. She's still waking up a few times a night but not nearly as much as she was. So far she as three teeth in and she's getting two more. She's crawling everywhere and is pulling herself up on anything and anyone she can. She is very aware of her surroundings and likes to watch everything that is happening and if she can't see it, she'll figure out a way how either by crawling on you or trying to stand on an object to see. She is SUPER busy and keeps me on my toes! Jamie and her have so much fun together and he's so patient with her and is also very protective of her. Enjoy the pictures.

I'm having a bit of a tough time with her hair since it's too short to do anything cute to it but it's also too long to let it just lay there. Pretty soon she'll get some more! :)

How she fell asleep the other day. She was upset for being in her crib and was trying to pull herself up to get out but finally exhaustion set in.

This picture cracks me up.....one of the rare moments that Jordan is scared of her big bro! Jamie still doesn't quite get that you don't need to choke her to give her a hug and her expression says it all.......

She's 8 months old!

She has been 8 months now for a few weeks (I've been a little busy) and she is full of energy! She's crawling around but she's still trying to figure out how it all works (eg. her knees and hands moving together so she can move quicker). It's pretty entertaining to watch her! She's also starting to pull herself up on things so she can stand up. She loves watching her big brother and Joey and is full of smiles day and night. She isn't much of a sleeper but at least she's as sweet as she can be when she's awake all day! :)

This is a good example of what the two of them are doing during the day most of the time. Jamie is always trying to carry her, lay with her, or hug her and Jordan just smiles and giggles away.

Our Favorite Place!

The beach in our favorite place in the world! We love being at the beach and one day I really hope we'll live near one! We had a great time at the beach in San Diego. Jamie loved playing in the sand but his favorite part was running in the freezing water into the waves. I'm sure he'll be wanting to surf next to daddy when he gets a little bit older!

You can definitely tell we are from the desert! A lot of beach goers had swimsuits on but our first day we were bundled up in sweatshirts and blankets. I think it was only 70 degrees out so a bit cold for us!

The next day was warmer and after seeing how badly Jamie wanted to go in the water the previous day I gave in and put him in his swim suit. He had a blast. He spent hours out there running in and out of the waves. It was so much fun to watch his excitement!

Sea World Part II

Here are a few more pictures of our Sea World Trip. Jamie loved the Sesame Street Bay of Play (and I'm pretty sure his daddy did too!).

Sea World Part I

For Jamie's third birthday Nani and Poppi wanted to take him to Sea World and boy did we have a blast! Both aunt's, Uncle Jay, Nani, Poppi, and Great-Grandma all came with us for the day. Jamie really enjoyed seeing all of the animals but his favorite part of Sea World was Sesame's Street Bay of Play area (big surprise!). He loved going on the flying Elmo fish and running all around on the play equipment. We went to a few shows and saw most of the exhibits. Our tickets allowed us entry for the whole week so we took advantage of this and went a few times. The big kids (my bro, my sis, Jeremy, Katie and I) all went on the roller coaster water ride which was a lot of fun (although poor Katie got soaked!). All in all it was a fun filled day and Jamie did pretty good with all of the excitement and stimulation!
