My First.....

Jamie and Jordan's aunts and uncle came into town to celebrate Halloween with us and to meet Jordan for the first time. They both came with gifts for their niece and nephew and here are some of the gifts they brought for them......

Jamie has officially gotten his first pair of Air Jordan's. I think this is a rite of passage for most boys!

Jordan is on her way to being a fashionista with her first pair of Baby Uggs! Don't worry I won't have her wear them with short shorts (I think that's the trend right now!).
Jeremy and I are thankful that Jamie and Jordan have such trendy and fashionable aunts and uncle and that they are passing it on to them! ;)

Pumpkin Carving

A cold front came through Phoenix the past few days and we have had very low and cold temps. during the day with a high of 64 degrees! Two days ago we were at 80 degrees! So, we pulled out our winter clothing (I know pathetic to all of you who live in Seattle...) and decided it was perfect weather to carve pumpkins outside. I love this weather because it really feels like Fall. The artist Jeremy is, already had the pumpkins ready to go with graphics that he stenciled on them. Jamie was very curious about everything and was eager to help daddy. They had a lot fun together and we have some pretty cool pumpkins to light up on Halloween night!

Jamie helping clean out the pumpkin. He wasn't too sure about the goopy stuff that came out.

Still cleaning out the pumpkins.

I love my sister!

We've been at home for almost two weeks now and Jamie is still doing great with Jordan. The first thing he does when he wakes up is come into our room to see her and in the evening before bed we all cuddle up in our bed for awhile. Jamie has to make sure he's next to her. He's very gentle and careful around her.

Jeremy has done a wonderful job of taking care of Jamie and housework the past few weeks. I don't know what I'm going to do when he has to go back to work! He's a great Mr. Mom! I must admit I knew it would be a lot of work having an almost 2 1/2 yr. old and a newborn but I didn't fully realize how much until she came. So to all of you mama's out there who have two or more children...bless you! ;) I'm sure once she sleeps more through the night I'll get more of a handle on things around the house....maybe. I did love Jeremy's comment the other day....he said staying at home all day all he feels like all he does is dishes and keeping the kitchen clean. (I know you mom's can appreciate that!)

Giving love to his sister.

Proud big brother!

When I am feeding Jordan he likes to put his hand on her head....so cute!

Jamie's new "big brother" toy. We gave this to him the same day we brought Jordan home.

He has a stool he brings over to her bassinett to check on her. He also brings the stool to her room when I'm changing her to check things out and help.

Jamie meet Jordan!

I'm trying to catch up the blog in between feedings and naps! :) Here are a few pictures of when we brought Jordan home. We didn't have Jamie meet her until we came home from the hospital. As soon as we got out of the car and he saw that I was carrying the carseat he came running outside saying, "baby Jordan (he pronounces her name as Jordy)." He was very excited and wanted to get a closer look at her. Once we set her down on the floor he ran and got his favorite matchbox toys and started showing them to her. It was so cute! I actually thought he would look at her and then go about his daily business but he's very into her. He likes to make sure she's okay and likes helping me out. He's going to be a great big brother!

Welcome to the World.....Baby Jordan

Last Sunday, Oct. 11th, we were able to finally meet our baby girl, Jordan! I was induced Sunday at around 11:30am and ended up having her that evening at 7:18pm. She was 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and 18 inches long. She has a lot of dark hair and you can definitely tell Jamie and her are sister and brother. Jeremy and I are absolutely thrilled to have her home and are so thankful to have two healthy and happy children!

Here she is.........

Getting dressed after her bath.

A little hard to see but she's in my arms.....two VERY proud parents!

Pumpkin Patch

Tonight we took our annual trip to Schneph Farms to visit the pumpkin patch and ride the train. I didn't know if I would last long since I'm 39 1/2 weeks pregnant but I did pretty good! I was hoping all of the walking would lead to labor but so far it hasn't. :( Jamie really enjoyed the large stacks of hay they had....he just wanted to keep climbing up and down them. He also liked going on the "spooky" train, eating kennel corn, and riding the tricycle around the track. We had a great evening!

He loved climbing up and down the hay stacks.

Jeremy was singing the Rocky Tune as he made his way to the top of the stack!
Daddy pushing Jamie around the trike track.

My cutie pie....he sure looks like a big boy in this picture!

*Pregnancy Update: She's still hanging out so if I don't have her by this Sunday they will induce me. We have an appt. at the hospital set for this Sunday afternoon but I'm still hanging on hope that I'll go into labor before then! We'll see.......
