Zoo Trip with the Group

The weather is much cooler this week so we decided to take advantage of it and head down to the Zoo. We met our best buds there and had a great time! Jamie was very excited to see his friends again since he had not seen them for awhile due to me being so sick with the pregnancy. I'm doing much better now so we plan to get back to our regular playdates with our buddies. They are all so cute together!

Refer to the first picture....Jamie picks up the rock or dirt and gives it to his girlfriend. What a gentlemen! Katie was so impressed by this that she put the item in her mouth! ;) This is why we aren't sure if it was a small rock, some dirt or something else.....kids!

WHY????

I was busy doing laundry and went to put in a new load and found Jamie with his own bowl of dog food. I don't know what it is with dog food....he tries to eat it whenever he can! I usually put it up after Joey is done eating but sometimes forget and this is what happens. In the video I'm trying to move away from Jamie because he is trying to sit in my lap and eat the food. He never does this with any other foods, only when he has been sneaky and has filled his own bowl with dog food then he wants to sit on my lap. He's also "talking" up a storm in the video so be sure to have your volume on if you want to hear it. Enjoy!

Postponed Easter Egg Hunt

Last weekend we were able to go to the big Easter Egg Hunt. It was cancelled Easter weekend due to the weather. Jamie had quite a day! He cried with the Easter Bunny and wasn't that interested in the Easter egg hunt. He did have a lot of fun at the playground (big surprise) and playing limbo with the ropes that surround the Easter egg hunt area. Maybe next year he'll be more into it! :)

So excited to climbing steps....he LOVES steps/stairs!

We spent the Easter at Nani's and Poppi's and had a great day. Jamie was a bit under the weather but he still had a great time coloring egg's and going through the basket. Hope you all had a great Easter!

Our Easter Bunny leaves colored ribbon at the door with a name attached to it and then you have to follow the ribbon to see where the Easter Bunny left your basket. Poppi was helping Jamie find his.

What is this?? (23 Months)

This past Saturday we woke up to a very unusual picture in Phoenix.....outside there was no sun and it was raining! Typically when we get rain it just comes in for a hour or so and then moves on and the sun is back out. However, on this day it reminded us of a Seattle day since it stayed overcast and wet for most of the day. This was the first time Jamie has been out in the rain since he's been able to walk and he LOVED it. He was trying to catch it in his mouth and was running all over Nani's and Poppi's backyard. This was also the day that Jeremy and Poppi were putting in grass in the backyard. Needless to say, the three boys had a lot of fun out in the rain and mud!
