Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas this year! We all slept in (thank you son!) and enjoyed a great breakfast that Jeremy cooked for us. We then stayed in our PJ's and opened gifts from Santa. Santa brought a few gifts for Jamie this year but once Jamie saw the wagon with blocks, he was done....he played with this all morning! Jeremy and I ended up opening the rest of his gifts and setting them all up for him. He would come back in the playroom throughout the morning to check out what we were doing now and then but for the most part he just pushed and pulled his wagon everywhere!

Later in the day we went over to my parent's house and opened some more gifts and had a very yummy dinner that Poppi made. We were so happy that my sister made the trip down here from LA for Christmas and enjoyed our time with her this past weekend. We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

So tired after all the excitement of the day!

Jamie's favorite gift this year!

Playing with his aunt Melanie.

This is what he would do every time he opened a gift....he'd climb on it!

Let is Snow...Let it Snow...Let it Snow

This past week the high country got snow so yesterday we loaded up the SUV and headed up north to Flagstaff to take Jamie to the snow for the first time. As you can see from the first picture he wasn't very fond of the actual snow but he LOVED sledding with Jeremy! He was a bit unsure as we were loading him up into the sled but as soon as they went down the hill he was smiling and laughing. We actually spent about 2 1/2 hours sledding! Next year we plan to take him skiing since he seemed to enjoy going down the hill so much....we can't wait!

I wasn't quick enough putting on his gloves so he ended up grabbing a big handful of snow and this was he thought about that!

Here he is trying to walk in the snow and I'm right beside him....I was afarid he was going to fall down again.

Look dad....snow!

Relaxing...being pulled by daddy at the sled park.

19 Month's Old

Here are few pictures of Jamie's favorite things to do at this age. Anything that has to do with Daddy he pretty much loves. He is such a daddy's boy but Jeremy does a great job with it and takes Jamie everywhere he goes without hestiation....even when mowing the yard! Good thing he has strong arms! Ignore the camera dates on the pictures....I have somehow managed to go back in time to 2007 and can't figure out how to change it. :)

His poor me look. This was when we were trying to take holiday pictures.

Giving me a heart attack as he tries to climb everything!

Playing with Joey and Daddy!

Every morning we listen/watch music videos on VHI. He doesn't pay much attention except when Coldplay, Pink or Beyonce comes on and then he runs to the TV.

Tis the Season!

Oh....the holiday season has arrived full force at the Dahl house! Jeremy had our Christmas lights up by Thanksgiving Day so we could do our annual house lighting after the big Turkey dinner. Jeremy and I LOVE this time of year so our weekends are full of festive activities that are going on in the area. These pictures are from Glendale Glitters and Queen Creek's Home Style Christmas.

They had fake snow coming down and Jamie was memorized by it!

Jeremy's behind him trying to get his head in the hole correctly but all Jamie wanted to do was climb through the hole!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a very nice Thanksgiving this year. It actually rained here so Jamie and I weren't able to run in the 5k Turkey Waddle but Jeremy still went out and played football with a bunch of friends and had a great time! We went over to my parents house later on the in the afternoon and had a very delicious dinner. Jamie's favorite part of the meal was the pumpkin pie and whip cream. We hope you all have a great Thanksgiving!

.
I'm starting him young...he's helping me with the dishes

He's teething right now which causes his little bottom to get red so we let him run around as a "free bird" as much as possible. What a great shot!

Yummy...whip cream!

18 Months Old!

He's so goofy!

He must be really into this book!

Reading books

He's shocked by Joey's new haircut!

Throwing his soccer ball...maybe he'll be a goalie!

We can't believe that our little guy is now a year and a half old! He is so much fun at this age! He's very active and pointing to everything he sees. His favorite things to do are playing with Joey, going to the park, reading books (he's actually looking at the books now instead of eating them!), throwing/kicking balls and being goofy!

Guy's Night!

Now that I'm working part-time at Barnes and Noble a few nights a week, Jeremy and my dad (aka Poppi) have been having their guys night together. Today Jamie and I went to the Zoo with my mom's group and as I was uploading the Zoo pictures I found this picture from last night. At least Jamie was in his seat, being fed and wasn't faced towards the TV! :) The three boy's really looked like they were enjoying themselves!

Announcing....The King!

We know Jamie's our little King at our house so we decided to dress him up as Elvis this year. His costume was a hit and he had lots of pictures taken of him! Halloween was a busy day and started with going to see Daddy at work to pass out Halloween candy to his employees. Jamie does this every year and Jeremy's staff loves seeing him. After this we waited anxiously for Jason, Melanie and Katie to come in town. Jamie was sooooo happy to see his aunties and uncle! We ended the evening with meeting our friends at the local park for a Trunk or Treat celebration. Jamie loved seeing all the costumes and playing with the animals at the petting zoo. Hope you all had a great Halloween!

Moo Moo Palozza - 17 Months

Today Jamie turned 17 months old and we went to the Moo Moo Palozza at Superstition Farm. It's a two day event and the kids could pet animals, go on a hay ride, go through a maze, etc. Jamie's favorite thing was to walk and run up and down the gravel hill.....hills are so much fun for him right now! He did walk right up the animals and reached in to pet them without any hesitation which was great! It was fun trying to get a group pictures of the kids.......Mia, Jacob, Katie and Jamie!

Jamie's First Girlfriend!

We are very blessed to have close friends who have children around Jamie's age and we get together with them as often as we can....don't know what I'd go without them! One of the couples has a little girl, Katie, who is a few months younger than Jamie and Jamie has his heart set on her! Here are some pictures of the two of them at the Olive Mill. The very last picture of Jamie brought tears to Jeremy's eyes and mine because we can see how he's turning into a little boy.....where did the time go?!

Train Ride

Last weekend we took Jamie down to Encanto Park in Phx. It's a great park with a lake (well...what we consider to be a lake in AZ :) ), kiddy rides including a train, and lots of play areas. As you can tell from the pictures, Jamie wasn't to sure about the train ride! He really enjoyed being able to walk around everywhere and follow his daddy!

A Day of Fun

Jamie enjoyed a very full and fun day of play recently. We started out at a local splash pad which he loved! For those of you not in AZ, it's still 95 degrees out so we still do lots of things outside and in the water. We also took him the park on a cooler day and he enjoyed the swings but his favorite part, much to my dismay, was playing with the sand. Although, I did very good....I let him play with it, even taste it and then wiped him down head to toe after he was done. Jeremy had a lot of fun as well and by the time we left the park I was wondering if the park trip was for Jamie or for him. :).
