Fun Times with The Dahl's

Terri, Doug, and the kids were back in town this past month and we had a great time with them! Doug stayed for a week and Terri and the kids stayed for 2 1/2 weeks. Jamie was thrilled to have playmates and chased the kids daily. It was nice to have family in town to help with things around the house and entertain Jamie. It was still really hot so we spent a lot of the days over at Poppi and Nani's pool and all of the kids had a blast. We hope to see them all again at Christmas time.


Jamie is obsessed with Faith (aka Sissy). He would follow her everywhere and call out her name. She was great about it and let Jamie crawl all over her and played with him all the time.

Doug, Jeremy, Faith and Caleb all went golfing one afternoon. Even though it was 110 degrees out, they all had fun and the kids did really well.

Helping Daddy build Jordan's Closet

With six weeks to go until my due date I'm in full nesting mode...poor Jeremy! I have a list of projects for him to get done and am wanting to clean my entire house daily...even though there is not much to clean! Jeremy has been wonderful and just puts a smile on his face and asks, "what's next?" I think he's secretly writing all of this down so he can use it later when he wants to play golf every weekend! :) This past weekend Jeremy worked on Jordan's closet and painting her room. As you can see in these pictures, Jamie was right behind him wanting to help and check everything out.

He kept saying, "Up! Up!" Before I know it he'll be the one on the ladder doing the projects!


Hmm...let's see if I can balance this between the wall and ladder.

Look what I found!

I love this picture. He didn't realize I was behind him and he thought he was being sneaky by climbing the ladder and this was the face he gave me when he turned around.

Jamie's First Bike

He thinks he's pretty cool on this little trike!

Jamie got his first bike this past weekend. Well...maybe you can't really call this a bike but he sure looks cute on it! We saw this at Wal-Mart a few weeks ago and Jamie went over to it right away and wanted to ride it so Jeremy helped him get on and showed him how to pedal and he loved it! We have it over at Nani's and Poppi's house since they have the nice tile floors. Much to my dislike he is not wearing a helmet but I guess when the bike is only 2 feet tall I can't complain to much! :)

I LOVE airplanes!

In recent months, Jamie has became very fascinated with airplanes. I think all of our vacations in June had something to do with it! Whenever we are outside or driving and he sees one he get's so excited and starts saying, "airplane, airplane." So, I checked out a video all about airplanes from the library and he loved it! One of these days I'll have to take him to an air show....I'm sure he'd have a blast! (In these pictures he looks like Jim Carey from the movie Dumb and Dumber b/c of how his hair is....it's pretty funny!)

Here are his airplanes that he plays with a lot and has to line them up like this before he goes to bed each night. He's very meticulous about certain things (just like his daddy!).


I tried to move him back from the TV but he kept running up to it and trying to follow the planes on the screen with his finger.

He's saying, "airplane, airplane."
