Train Ride

Last weekend we took Jamie down to Encanto Park in Phx. It's a great park with a lake (well...what we consider to be a lake in AZ :) ), kiddy rides including a train, and lots of play areas. As you can tell from the pictures, Jamie wasn't to sure about the train ride! He really enjoyed being able to walk around everywhere and follow his daddy!

A Day of Fun

Jamie enjoyed a very full and fun day of play recently. We started out at a local splash pad which he loved! For those of you not in AZ, it's still 95 degrees out so we still do lots of things outside and in the water. We also took him the park on a cooler day and he enjoyed the swings but his favorite part, much to my dismay, was playing with the sand. Although, I did very good....I let him play with it, even taste it and then wiped him down head to toe after he was done. Jeremy had a lot of fun as well and by the time we left the park I was wondering if the park trip was for Jamie or for him. :).

Jamie 16 months

Our little boy is 16 months old.....time is flying by! He's really got walking down and is trying to run to things he wants to see. He can be in the back of the house and as soon as he hears the garbage truck come down the street he'll start walking/running to the front window. Little boys and trucks.....they just go hand in hand! He is also starting to feed himself or should I say we are finally starting to let him do it. He LOVES beans (big surprise) and he was so proud to be feeding himself his dinner tonight. Jeremy had fun cleaning him up. Enjoy the pics!

Grandma Vi Visit

In July we went to San Fransico to visit with our Grandma Vi. As many of you know, Grandma Vi is very special to us and last summer she had a stroke right after Jamie was born. She was suppose to come out and see him but due to her stroke she couldn't. We were able to finally make the trip with my parents this past July. We had a great time and Jamie loved meeting his third Great-Grandmother! Of course, we had to visit our favorite champagne house, Domaine Carneros, while we were there! :)

Jamie Walking

Here is a video of Jamie walking. He took his first steps about a month ago but it has only been recently that he's been walking more than crawling. It's a lot of fun to watch him and to see how hard he is concentrating with each step he takes. Some parts of the video are shaking....I always have a tough time with zooming in and out while taping! :)

Daddy's Home!

Every day when it gets close to Jeremy coming home both Jamie and Joey have to be on top of the toy box so they can look out the window and wait for their daddy to come home. As soon as the car pulls up, Joey starts barking and Jamie starts laughing and saying, "Dada, dada." It's very cute!
