End of the School Year

I know I'm a bit late with posting this but at least I got it up before Jamie starts school again! :)  Jamie had a wonderful school year and went to two preschools.  Ms. Rebecca and Ms. Kristin were excellent teachers and really helped Jamie build his confidence with learning and making friends.  Jamie grew leaps and bounds this past school year and I'm so excited to see what this next year will bring him.  Here are a few pictures of his preschool graduation from May.

Playing before the graduation.  It was VERY hot this day but the goods still had a blast!
The big boy getting his certificate.
Jordan was very interested in what was going on and was watching her brother the whole time.  She'd clap every time one of the students went up to get their certificate.  So cute!
Ms. Rebecca!  We love her!
One proud Mommy!
Ms. Kristin! We love her!
Jordan giving Jamie a congratulatory hug. :)
At Ms. Kristin's graduation the kids released the butterfly's they had been studying for the month of May.  I love Jamie's expression in this picture.
Ms. Kristin and Jamie.  She has been such a huge part of Jamie's life over the years and will go down as one of the most influential people in his life.

Professional Pictures - Disneyland

Disneyland now offers a photo pass and has a lot of photographers around the park who will take professional pictures of your family.  We ended up getting a few.  The trip was great and I think Jamie had the best fifth birthday any little guy could have!  We plan to go back to Disneyland to celebrate Jordan's fifth in a few years.  A special thank you to my parents for coming with us and being such troppers the whole trip!  They went on all the rides with the kids and the kids stayed with them in their hotel room so it was also a mini vacation for Jeremy and I!  Traveling with grandparents is the best!

I LOVE this picture of Jamie.  He is so happy!
I also enjoyed the tea cups! ;)
Birthday boy!  He looks like Popeye!
Entrance to Disneyland.  I love walking into the park and seeing this.

Day Three - Disneyland

The last day we arrived at the park early again to go on some of our favorite rides.  Everyone was still doing great and we ended up staying all day again!  The kids were not interested in meeting all the characters but they really wanted to meet Woody and Buzz.  We were lucky enough to find them and get a few pictures with them.  Jamie was very excited about meeting them but Jordan was not to sure.  We ended the day with having a wonderful dinner at Ariel's and then went over to Disneyland to watch the parade.  After the parade we went back over to California Adventure to watch World of Color.  This show was AMAZING!!!!  It was the perfect way to end the wonderful time we had.

Jamie meeting his hero. :)
The whole family meeting Jordan's hero.  Jordan is just in awe staring at Buzz!  I think Jamie was done with pictures at this point.

Jordan loved seeing all the princess and dancers.

Tinkerbell!
Jamie passed out after the show but was still holding tight onto his little sister.  He's such a good big brother!

Day Two - Disneyland

The second day we had breakfast at the hotel first and then headed over to Disneyland.  We went back to go on the kids favorite rides and to go and some new ones.  This day we also celebrated Jamie's birthday at The Plaza with Micky and Minnie.  Everyone got to decorate their own cake and then the kids were able to take pictures with Mickey and Minnie.  Melanie and Ashlyn were able to join us again which was a lot of fun!  Jordan was also able to meet Tinkerbell and Jamie, Jeremy and Poppi went on the Buzz Light Year ride several times!  We ended up staying until the park closed again!

The kids loved going on the carousel!
So did Poppi and Nani!
Day Two and she still wanted to go on the rockets several times.
Giving each other knuckles after the rocket ride.
Birthday cake to decorate.
"Ahh...mom!"
Concentrating very hard to make sure every M&M get's on his cake!
Even Jordan got into decorating the cake.
Jordan telling Ashyln what colors she is using to decorate her cake.
Jamie's masterpiece!
He's a bit unsure being next to Mickey and Minnie.
How the girls got around at the park.  Ashlyn was so sweet and shared her stroller.
Bubble time!!!
Getting ready to go on Dumbo.
Jordan wanted to sit down right away. :)
They had a Dumbo that you could take pictures on right outside the ride and I told the kids to act like they were riding it....these are the faces they decided to make.  I think Jordan is reaching out to the stars.
Going home on Day two.  No naps again but everyone did great!

Disneyland - Day One

We bought a three day park hopper pass and planned on spending the first day mainly at Disneyland.  We were VERY lucky because we arrived right when the gates opened and in the first two hours we went on almost all of the rides in Fantseyland!  Jamie LOVED Peter Pan and Jordan really enjoyed the tea cups.  Jordan definitely preferred rides that were open and not enclosed in buildings so she could see what was going to happen next.  We left the park at lunchtime and refueled at a restaurant in Downtown Disney and then we went across the way to California Adventure and were able to go on all the the kids rids without any waits in line!  The longest wait the whole trip was 20 min. for Finding Nemo.  We ended up staying the entire day (no trips back to the hotel for naps like I thought we'd do) and left when the park closed. The kids did great!

On a side note we have a very interesting experience on Thunder Mountain.  We decided to take Jamie on it since he likes roller coasters and were able to sit up front.  Halfway through the ride, the part where you are going up the huge hill in the tunnel, the train stopped!  We had to be escorted off the ride through the emergency exits which meant walking down the very steep steps next to the ride!  We had our cell phone and took pictures but I didn't have my camera.  Jamie was nervous but did fine and was very happy to get off and see Poppi and Jordan!

I was trying to get a picture of them with thier First Time Visit buttons but as you can see they were not that into it.
We were on Storybook Ride and this was right when we were going into the Whale's mouth. Jordan was trying to escape off the boat!
Jamie on the other hand loved it and was excited to see what was next.
Nani and Poppi entertaining Jordan at the Small World ride.
Once again I was forcing a picture of them with the mouse ears on...not too excited about it.
This ride was super bumpy and spinned  in circles...Jordan had us go on it lots of times.
This is one of my favorite pictures of the trip!  They both are having so much fun together!
Jeremy made the mistake and had me drive.  I kept going off the track so it became a very jerky ride for us.
Alice in Wonderland....another ride Jordan was not very fond of.
A ride Jordan LOVED!
Jordan's other favorite ride ended up being the rockets in Tomorrowland.  I couldn't believe it since they so high up in the air and fast but she went on them several times with Nani.
Jordan two mins after getting on the shuttle bus.
Jamie three mins. after getting on the shuttle bus.  I think day one was very successful!
