Daddy's Hat!

Although, Jamie won't wear any of his own hats he LOVES to wear his daddy's hats! He's so silly! He pulls the hats over his eyes so he can't see and walks around the house chasing Joey. Enjoy!

Trip to the Zoo!

At the petting zoo.....he wasn't too sure about the animals. They were much bigger than Joey!

Driving the tractor....his grandma will be so proud!

Having fun with Nani and Poppi at the playground!

Showing Nani how he's a big boy and can walk up the stairs by himself!
Today we spent the morning at the Phoenix Zoo. Jamie's Nani and Poppi came for the trip and we all had a great time. Jamie would look at the animals but had the most fun at the play area which is set up with all kinds of pretend farm equipment. He also enjoyed the petting zoo. His favorite part of the day was getting to eat kettle korn.....he loves it!

Swimming Video

Here's a recent swimming video of Jamie. He's still going once a week and is doing great. This video is of him having fun at the end of class when they get to have free time.

22 Months....a little late!

Sorry it's been awhile since we have put up any new posts but it's been a tough month at the Dahl household due to illness. Jamie was pretty sick (croup) at the beginning of the month and then I've been really sick the past few weeks so we've been staying at home and resting! We are finally all doing better and enjoying the beautiful spring weather in Phoenix. Jamie started a parks and rec tumbling class and has been having a great time with it. Enjoy!

Jamie's Best Friend.......Joey!

So excited at tumbling class!

He loves playing with the parachute!

Climbing....climbing...climbing!

He uses his his whole body while balancing on the beam!

Happy Valentine's Day!

For Valentine's Day this year I wanted to do something a little different so I found a great hike for us to do in Phoenix at Squaw Peak. The hike was voted as one of the best places to see a sunset with views of the city and it truly was. I must admit I thought it was going to be a nice stroll up the mountain and it definitely was not. It was like being on the stair climber at the gym at the highest level! We had a great time and really enjoyed the sunset. Afterwards we went out to dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory and celebrated our 11th Valentine's eating out at this restaurant. Nani and Poppi watched Jamie for us and they said they had the best Valentine's Day ever because they got to watch Jamie. :)

What a stud!

Nice picture...Jeremy! :)

Near the top of the mountain.

Beautiful scenery and very peaceful up here!

Taking a rest on the hike.

21 Months!

Jamie is 21 months today which means in three months our baby boy will be turning two! We can't believe it! I know I say this every month but time is flying by! I love seeing how he grows each day but sometimes I'd like to put the stop button on and enjoy this time a little bit longer. :) He is talking up a storm...we don't quite understand what he is saying but that doesn't stop him from talking to us. He loves going on bike rides and riding the tractor with Poppi. He's still taking swimming lessons and doing very well. Next month I'm also going to sign him up for a tumbling/movement class.

Riding the tractor with Poppi.

His favorite playmate....daddy!

I love spaghetti!

Best Friends

Here are some recent pictures of Jamie with his close buddies. Mia and Jacob are both 3 years old and Jamie and Katie are both 1 1/2 years old and they all play great together. It is so cute to see them play. They get so excited when they first see each other and while Mia and Jacob actually play with one another, Jamie and Katie follow each other around. Jamie has met some other little girls in the past few months but as you can tell from the pictures little Katie still has his heart!

"I love you!"
