Best buds

Here are a few random pictures of the kiddos together.  I am so grateful they love each other so much and have so much fun together.  Don't get me wrong....Jamie likes to bug his little sister as much as possible and she likes to bug him too but all in all they are best buds and love being around each other.  I hope this will continue as they get older.
Jamie likes to go into Jordan's crib when she wakes up.  She is 2 1/2 yrs old and has not tried to climb out of her crib so she's staying put. I know once we move her to a big girl bed we'll get nightly visits from her. :)
Playing in cardboard boxes.  BEST TOY EVER!
Always looking up to her big bro.  Jamie was putting shorts on his head and sticking them straight out saying he was a "hammerhead shark."  Jordan wanted to join in the fun too.
Brother and sister love.

Catching up....Trip to the Tucson Air Show

I'm trying to catch up with our blog so over the next few days I'll be posting a lot. :)  This post is from when we went to the big air show in Tucson back in April.  We went down the night before and stayed at a hotel (the kids LOVE staying in hotels...especially Jamie) and then we went to the show the next day.  This particular weekend we had very cool weather.  We enjoyed the show and hope to go again next year.
Jamie didn't adjust to the cold weather that well.  He is definitely an Arizonan baby.
Jordan really enjoyed the show.  We were in a plane and she sat down in the seat, buckled herself up and was ready to take off.  Once she realized we wouldn't be taking off she was little disappointed. :)
"Look at me, mama!"
Jordan was able to sit in the co-pilot seat.  She was so excited and was talking and talking to the pilot.  Luckily, he thought she was a cutie and he enjoyed having her sit with him.
The family. XOXO

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!  We celebrated the day by going over to Nani's and Poppi's for a nice brunch with mimosas and had the kids color eggs.  Nani and Poppi always have a great time doing this with the kids.  We went back home for nap time and then came back over for the Easter Egg Hunt, basket search, and ended the evening with a fabulous pot roast dinner.
Great food + tons of fun for the kids + being with family = Perfect Easter Day!
Nani and her Easter Bunny!
Jordan started with a tee shirt on but was so into coloring the eggs in needed to come off.
Jamie waiting with such anticipation!  What will the eggs look like???
Ready for the hunt!  The 3D glasses came in Jamie's Easter egg coloring kit. He wore those for days after.
Daddy did a great job hiding the eggs.  They were racing eachother to see who could find them first.
The Easter Bunny had a perfect idea of what to put inside the eggs.  The Easter Bunny knows we prefer to not have candy inside so this year he put pennies.  Inside their Easter Basket were Cars 2 plastic holders where they could put all of their pennies and bring them to Serranos or Paradise Bakery so they can make a wish in the fountain outside the restaurants. :)
Jordan found her basket right away and wanted to start opening it outside.

Next Stop - San Fransico!

Our next trip was to The Bay Area. We went up to Petulama to see Rob, Marty, Charlotte and Grandma Vi. We had a lot of fun even though it rained the majority of time we were there. Nani and Poppi had a great time with the kid at Pier 39! I love going to this part of California and look forward to going again next year!
Of course, we had to stop by my favorite champagne house!
Yummy! Finally found the perfect size champagne bottle for me!
This picture cracks me up. We are at Pier 39. Jamie looks like he's had enough of the downtown area and Jordan is being silly and sticking her tongue out. Such crazy kiddos but so much fun!
Shark face! This is at the aquarium on Pier 39.

Ready to head back to the sunshine.....Jamie loved his new toy he picked out.

San Diego - Sea World

While all the ladies were at Katie's Baby Shower, Uncle Jason took Jamie to Sea World for the day! I wish had a picture of Katie from that day because she looked amazing! She had the cutest dress on and was still wearing high heels this far along in her pregnancy. :) Jamie had a blast with Jason and his favorite exhibit was the shark encounter.
Jamie in the shark encounter. I think he was memorized by all the "big" sharks swimming around.....or he was scared. :)
Uncle Jason was able to get Jamie to pick up a star fish! I have been trying to get Jamie to do this since he was three yrs. old but never have had success. I was so happy to see that he actually did it this year!
Love this picture!

San Diego Trip - The Beach

March was a fun filled month for us! We started the month off by going over to San Diego for Katie's baby shower. Jamie, Nani and I went while Jordan spent some quality time with Daddy and Poppi at home. We went to the beach one day and had a blast! The weather was absolutely beautiful....80 degrees. We love going to the beach and can't wait to come back again in the summer with the rest of the family.
We had so much fun running into the water and then running as fast as we could when a wave would approach. I'm not sure who had more fun....Jamie or me.
Uncle Jason, Jamie and Ashyln working on an alligator sand sculpture. Jamie is obsessed with alligators right now so he was very into making one.
Nani and Jamie on a hunt for alligator teeth....sea shells. :)
The finished product. I think they did an awesome job!

Fun times with our friends

Here are some recent pictures of some fun playdates we had with our friends. Many of you know how much I/we love our nanny, Kristin. She started watching the kids about a year and half ago when I started working again. She comes over one day a week (sometimes two) and my kids love her! Over the last year and half she has became a great friend to me and also the kids preschool teacher! :) We are so thankful she is a part of our lives!

Kristin talking to Jordan about the statue she is looking at. We were at the Zoo.
Kristin has twin girls, Gabriella and Savannah. They are seven years old and are so great with Jamie and Jordan. The kids love having them come over!
Another group of our friends. We had a little celebration for one our mom's who is going back to work.
Growing up so fast.....I remember when we would come here and he couldn't even reach the pedals!

Wanted to share with you the Valentine's dress I made for Jordan this year. I love to sew......just need to make more time to do it!
